When placing a partial renewal in SPP, you need to prepare Autodesk Partner Center for the partial order by splitting the serial number for Autodesk to accept the order.

You are NOT able to split the serial numbers for the following products by yourself: BIM Collaborate, BIM Collaborate Pro, BIM 360 Cost, BIM 360 Build - Packs, BIM 360 Team - Packs, BIM 360 Coordinate - Packs, and BIM 360 Plan - Packs. If you need to split any of the above examples, please contact Autodesk customer service.

When placing a partial renewal in SPP, you need to prepare Autodesk Partner Center for the partial order by splitting the serial number for Autodesk to accept the order.

1. Log in to Autodesk Partner Center

2. Search for the specified Contract in the search input.

3. Click on the line with the serial number you wish to split “Split Asset”.

4. The seats in line 1 (green line) keeps the existing serial number, while line 2 (white line) receives a new serial number by Autodesk after the split.

   Enter the number of seats you wish not to renew in your partial “partial renewal” (14 seats).

   Autodesk will now split off the 6 seats and keeping the existing serial number. Press NEXT.

   

5. Continue to press “Confirm” to perform the final stage of the split.

6. If there exists an open Opportunity, you need to cancel this Opportunity. If you get this message, just press “Cancel Renewal”.

7. You will get confirmation of the split and you close by pressing “OK”.

8. Autodesk now generates a new opportunity number for the existing serial number, in our example, 6 seats for the partial renewal, and new serial number for the remaining 14 seats. The new serial number that will be issued for the 14 seats will start with “777…”.

9. You can see the new opportunity number and serial numbers in Partner Center. The new opportunity will appear in SPP within approximately 30 minutes up to two hours once the SPP database is synced with Autodesk.

10. Go back to SPP and proceed with the partial renewal (in this example the 6 seats).
